From the opening tip-off, Green was unstoppable, demonstrating his scoring versatility with an array of dazzling moves and sharpshooting from beyond the arc. His exceptional performance was complemented by rookie Amen Thompson, who erupted for a career-high 25 points, providing valuable support to propel the Rockets to their sixth consecutive victory.

The game saw a dramatic shift in momentum during the third quarter, as the Wizards briefly seized the lead before Green took control of the game. Green's offensive brilliance was on full display as he knocked down seven 3-pointers and dominated the boards with 10 rebounds, showcasing his all-around impact on the game. Joining Green in the double-double club were Thompson and Jabari Smith Jr., who contributed 18 points and 14 rebounds each, further highlighting the Rockets' dominance in the paint.

Despite a valiant effort from the Wizards, who were without several key starters, including their leading scorers, Corey Kispert, Justin Champagnie, and Jules Bernard, who each tallied 16 points, showcased their resilience. However, they were unable to contain the relentless offensive onslaught from the Rockets.

The first half saw a back-and-forth battle, with Green setting the tone with 19 points in the opening quarter, countered by Kispert's 13-point outburst. The Wizards' bench provided a spark, keeping the game close with their sharpshooting from beyond the arc.

As the game progressed, the Rockets' offensive firepower proved too much for the Wizards to handle, as they extended their road winning streak to five games and solidified their position as a formidable contender in the league.
