Minnesota Timberwolves’ star player Anthony Edwards has dominated headlines over the last few months because of the controversial drama between him and his ex girlfriends as they claim child support from the star player.
While his two ex girlfriends and mothers of his children, Ayesha Howard and Alexandria Desroches, have teamed up together to claim child support, a new revelation about Anthony Edwards’ income has sparked chaos.
Anthony Edwards makes 7 figures monthly as he continues to be involved in messy legal drama with his exes
A few hours ago, as per TMZ Sports, a new document filed in court revealed that the Minnesota Timberwolves’ star player Anthony Edwards earns over $3 million per month.
TMZ Sports noted in a recent report, “Minnesota Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards is bringing in a massive 7-figure monthly income ... at least according to new legal docs from his baby mama court battle.”
The report added, “New court docs, obtained by TMZ, show the NBA star pulls in $3,364,911 in gross monthly income, while his ex, Alexandria Desroches, makes around $1,016 per month. The docs say Anthony is paying around $5,000 a month in child support to Desroches.”
However, neither Anthony Edwards’ legal team nor his two ex girlfriends has reacted to the speculations yet.
Why are Ayesha Howard and Alexandria Desroches dragging Anthony Edwards into a messy legal drama?
For the unversed, Anthony Edwards and Alexandria Desroches welcomed a son, Amir, in October 2023.
A few months later, in March 2025, as Alexandria Desroches claimed child support, Anthony Edwards demanded a DNA test with his own court petition in Georgia.
Interestingly, a few weeks later, it is proven that the Minnesota Timberwolves’ star player is indeed the father to the son Alexandria Desroches gave birth to.
In a shocking turn of events, in April 2026, Alexandria Desroches teamed up with Anthony Edwards’ another ex, Ayesha Howard, as they together claim that the star player has been hiding his assets.
This led to Anthony Edwards’ legal team issue a statement that expressed his frustration.
The statement read as, “The filings, the media campaign, the parallel proceedings in two states, the refusal to comply with discovery, and the refusal to mediate are all designed to make the cost of defending so high that Anthony will pay whatever Ayesha demands to make it stop…”
