Nagraj Khursane wins 5000m at National School Athletics

NAGPUR: Nagpur Krida Prabodhini athlete Nagraj Khursane won gold medal in the 5000 metres race with a timing of 15 minutes and 24 seconds at the 59th School National Athletics Meet at Ranchi on Saturday. The ace long distance runner is being coached by Jaikumar Tembhare.
In the U-19 girls category, Pundit Bachharaj Vyas student Sayali Waghmare qualified for the 800m final. Revati Kore qualified for the 800m race final in the U-17 girls.
In the U-14 girls section, Mansi Uikey did well to qualify for 600m finals. More than three thousand athletes from 33 states are participating in the annual meet.
