Josh Brueckner is already looking beyond Saturday night’s big event in Germany. The YouTube star believes Misfits Boxing will not only beat Fame Fighting but could also take on other influencer boxing promotions in the future, including
Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP). Misfits Boxing and Fame Fighting will meet in a first-of-its-kind team event in Leverkusen, Germany, on Saturday. Nine fighters from each promotion will compete across the card. The main event will see Fame Fighting super-heavyweight champion Aleks Petrovic face Misfits heavyweight champion Chase DeMoor.
Brueckner, one of Misfits’ biggest names, is also set to compete on the card. He will take on German social media personality Tobias Pietrek.
Speaking to SunSport before the event, Brueckner made it clear that he expects Misfits Boxing to come out on top. He also suggested that future matchups against other influencer boxing organizations could be next if Misfits gets the job done in Leverkusen.
Josh Brueckner says Misfits Boxing can beat Fame Fighting before targeting Jake Paul’s MVP
Brueckner said he already has plans for what he wants to say after his fight. “I do have some calls ready for after the fight, after I get this knockout. But I’m going to save it for the ring. But you know what, like it’s tonight or not tonight, on Saturday it’s Misfits versus Fame Fighting.
And I think we should take on everybody. Let’s take on MVP, let’s take on Brand Risk, let’s take on all these promotions. Saturday will be the first one. Misfits is going to annihilate Fame Fights and then let’s move on to a guy from MVP. Maybe it’s MMA, maybe it’s boxing, maybe it’s both. I don’t know, let’s get crazy.”
His comments add more excitement to an event that is already being promoted as the “Super Bowl of influencer boxing.” While Brueckner is confident in Misfits Boxing’s chances, he is not expecting every fight to go their way. When asked if Team Misfits could win every matchup on the card, he admitted that a clean sweep may be difficult.
“I would love say yes. But some fights, I don’t think so, to be honest.”
Misfits founders KSI and Mams Taylor will be hoping their fighters can deliver a strong performance against Fame Fighting. A win for Team Misfits could strengthen the promotion’s position in influencer boxing and potentially open the door for future battles against rival organizations such as Jake Paul’s MVP and Adin Ross’ Brand Risk.
