'Halla bol, young man!': Vaibhav Sooryavanshi receives heartfelt message from WWE's Drew McIntyre

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, the wonderkid of IPL 2026, has been earning praise from all over the world for his fearless batting displays. Now, apart from the cricket fraternity, WWE superstar Drew McIntyre has joined the list of admirers with a heartfelt message for the 15-year-old prodigy.

Drew McIntyre is one of WWE's biggest superstars and currently performs on the SmackDown brand. Known as "The Scottish Warrior," he has built a massive global fanbase through his intense promos, brute strength, and high-profile championship storylines. Earlier, McIntyre was seen training in a Rajasthan Royals jersey as a tribute to cricket sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.



Vaibhav Sooryavanshi produced another historic batting display against Gujarat Titans (GT) in Qualifier 2 of IPL 2026, despite Rajasthan Royals (RR) crashing out of the tournament. The 15-year-old batting prodigy smashed a brilliant 96 off 47 balls, leading a remarkable recovery after RR were reduced to 9/2 early in the innings. His knock helped RR post a challenging total of 214/6, but GT chased it down comfortably with seven wickets in hand, leaving a visibly emotional Sooryavanshi in tears in the dugout.




After narrowly missing out on a century once again and seeing his team's campaign come to an end, Vaibhav received a special message from Drew McIntyre on Instagram. The WWE star shared a heartfelt caption praising the youngster's extraordinary achievements.

Gujarat Titans secured a place in the IPL 2026 final with a dominant 7-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in Mullanpur. RR posted 214/6, powered by a brilliant 96 off 47 balls from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and a late cameo from Donovan Ferreira.

In response, GT captain Shubman Gill led from the front with a stunning 104 off 53 balls, while Sai Sudharsan chipped in with 58 off 32. Their massive opening partnership put GT firmly in control as they chased down the target in just 18.4 overs, finishing on 219/3. Gill was named Player of the Match as Gujarat Titans advanced to the final with one of the most impressive chases of the season.
