NEW DELHI: New Zealand will play their do-or-die league fixture against Sri Lanka in Bengaluru on Thursday, and the concluding round-robin game for the two teams will play a crucial role in deciding the fate of the BlackCaps in the ICC World Cup 2023.

New Zealand, Pakistan and Afghanistan are involved in a three-way fight for one remaining semi-final spot. India, South Africa and Australia have already qualified for the last-four stage. Sri Lanka have already been eliminated from the race to semis.
