Reasons why Aahat can be a hit this season

According to a report on Bollywoodlife.com, Sony TV's Aahat will soon feature Bollywood's sexy siren, Sunny Leone, in one of its episodes. Reportedly, the actress is not appearing on the show to promote her upcoming film, Ek Paheli Leela. She will be a part of one of the episodes of the horror show.

With the show having fetched good numbers, the makers and the channel have decided to air the show for four days a week instead of making it a weekly, stated the report.

Reasons why Aahat can be a hit this season

Comeback after four years: Though there were a lot of horror stories that hit TV, the brand of horror created by Aahat remains exclusive to the show. Aahat was last aired in the year 2010. The last season of the show hadn't done as well as it was expected to, probably due to bad programming strategies. But the makers have decided to bring it back from the dead after four years. Considering the genre of the show, the channel aired the first episode of the show on February 18 - a no moon day.

Old writers retained: The story of a show is its biggest USP and keeps the viewers hooked on to it. Some of the old episodes of the show still manage to hold the audience's attention, all thanks to the interesting and intriguing stories. Hence the writer of the show, Sridhar Raghavan, who had penned the spine-chilling, horror stories for the initial 300 episodes of Aahat, has been retained for the new season. The writer has apparently also quit his job of writing stories for films to write for Aahat.

Special attention has been paid to the details. There is a lot of chroma-key shoot that is taking place to create sets that have never been seen before.
