Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil: Show Launch

The cast consists of debutants Pearl V Puri and Asmita Sood along with Suyyash Rai and Ayub Khan.

Producer Saurabh Tewary while explaining the uniqueness of ‘Badtameez Dil’ says, “We have used non-linear story line in the show. The story keeps switching between lead actors’ life in the past and present. The scripting process was more difficult than the actual shooting.”

Suyyash Rai has no qualms admitting that he has chosen ‘Badtameez Dil’ over ‘Nach Baliye 7’. Talented actor who plays Abeer’s best friend Nasir, says, “Nach Baliye 7 is only for few months while a musical love story like ‘Badtameez Dil’ is more beneficial in the longer run.” Suyyash is happy to receive compliments for his stylized look and informs us that, “I don’t have any fashion icon but I like Ranveer Singh’s dressing style.” Actor has also turned singer for this show and lent his voice for one of the 8 original songs to be used in the show.

Ravishing Asmita Sood is elegance personified. She admits that after doing south movies it took bit of a persuasion from Saurabh Tewary for her to accept the lead role as ‘Meher’. Meher who is a head of a channel, in the show is a self-made woman very much like Asmita in real life. Also, television’s maximum reach made the offer more tempting for this lovely lady.

A musician in real life, Pearl is happy that he got a chance to express his passion for singing and creating music through his character Abeer. Music is a common factor which connects Pearl to his reel character Abeer.
