Parents of deseased scribe leave for Delhi

dehradun: the parents of deseased scribe sanjeev sinha on monday left for new delhi to attend his last rites as a pall of gloom descended on his house after the news of his death in sunday's plane crash reached there. as soon as the tv channels began flashing news about the plane crash near mainpuri in uttarpradesh, aged father of sinha rang up indian express, new delhi, where his son worked as special correspondent.on getting confirmation lt col (retd) r p sinha broke down inconsolably. "i am dazed, please don't ask any questions," he said. another victim of the plane mishap gopal bisht was also from uttaranchal. he hailed from pauri district. meanwhile, the doon school staff members, where madhavrao scindia held the post of the vice-chairman of the board of governors for six years, were shocked over the incident. "this is really very sad that scindia died in the plane crash. he was very popular among the school staff and used to come here very frequently," officiating headmaster of the school jayant lal said.
