Lenovo launches ZUK Z2 smartphone with 4GB RAM, fingerprint sensor
NEW DELHI: Lenovo has has launched its latest high-end smartphone ZUK Z2 in China. The phone is a toned down version of the ZUK Z2 Pro, launched last month. Priced at $273, the smartphone will go on sale from June 7. Lenovo is also offering a wireless charger worth $45 with the handset.
On the specifications front, the ZUK Z2 has a 5-inch Full HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution. The handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15GHz.
ZUK Z2 has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It comes with dual nano-sim support and sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front shooter for selfies. There's also a fingerprint sensor and a 3,500 mAh battery.
Connectivity options of the handset include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C.
Recently, Lenovo launched its ZUK Z1 smartphone in India. Price at Rs 13,499, the ZUK Z1 is the cheapest smartphone to offer 64GB of on-board storage.
ZUK Z1 has a 5.5-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution and comes with a metal framed body. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and is powered by a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. However, there is no microSD card slot for memory expansion. It also has a fingerprint scanner integrated with the home button.
