5 must-visit Diwali Melas in Delhi-NCR you just can’t skip

Diwali is one of the much-awaited festivals in India. It is the time when people come out and shop their hearts out for friends, families and for themselves. And what better place than Delhi-NCR to do Diwali shopping? The city is known for its night of lights and if you want the best mix of traditional handicrafts, pretty decor and street food this season, then you simply can’t miss these five Diwali melas, filled with joy and festive cheer.

Let’s have a look at 5 must-visit Diwali melas in Delhi-NCR:

2/6

Surajkund Diwali Mela, Faridabad (1–7 October 2025)

Surajkund’s Diwali Mela is organised by Haryana Tourism every year. It is one of the best Diwali melas in Delhi-NCR with the biggest regional showcase on this list. Here, you can shop from hundreds of stalls which represent states across India and folk performances. The official mela page lists the Surajkund Diwali Mela as running from 1–7 October 2025.

3/6

The Bazaar’s Diwali Mela at Sunder Nursery, Delhi (11 October 2025)

Sunder Nursery’s Diwali Bazaar celebrates sustainability, live music, and family-friendly fun. Visitors can enjoy hands-on workshops, storytelling sessions, and carefully curated décor. Unlike typical fairs, this one-day Diwali mela on Saturday, 11 October 2025, avoids mass-produced items, making it ideal for eco-conscious attendees. Be sure to book early if you want to join the morning heritage walks or workshops.

4/6

Meri Dilli Utsav — Dilli Haat, Pitampura (11–13 October 2025)

Meri Dilli Utsav is a three-day Diwali fest with 200–250 stalls, food courts, live performances and a family-friendly vibe. It’s an ideal place for shoppers wanting to gift diyas, candles, décor, ethnic wear and seasonal snacks. The place remains crowded during this time with people enjoying festivities the whole day and evening.

5/6

Noida Haat Diwali Utsav & Blind School Diwali Mela

Noida Haat’s Diwali Utsav is a recurring community favourite for handloom, pottery and décor stalls plus cultural nights — easy to reach from Noida and Greater Noida. Meanwhile, the Blind Relief Association’s Blind School Diwali Mela on LBS Marg (dates listed 11–17 October 2025 in event listings) is a smaller, heartwarming fair that often features homemade sweets, traditional crafts and bargains.

6/6

Dastkar: Festival of Lights, Chhatarpur (3–15 October 2025)

Dastkar’s is a long-running festival that brings together hundreds of artisans. Some of these artisans are from rural backgrounds. This Nature Bazaar at Andheria Modh (near Chhatarpur) is running from 3–15 October 2025 (11:00–19:00 daily). The entry fee is modest and this is where you’ll find hand-loom textiles, block-printed table linen, earthen diyas and other colourful giftables.
