The Schwarzwald, or Black Forest, is shrouded in legends dating back to medieval times. Known for dense pine trees and deep valleys, the forest is associated with witches and werewolves. Hoia Baciu Forest near Cluj-Napoca is famous for UFO sightings, unexplained lights, and mysterious disappearances. According to local folklore, the woods is where one encounters ancient spirits, where mysterious disappearances have happened.
