Kadmat Island

Minicoy Island

The southernmost island of Lakshadweep with a large lagoon on one side of the island and also houses a lighthouse that is one of the oldest. It is the second largest and southernmost island in Lakshadweep and is also crescent-shaped and has one of the largest lagoons. Tourists can visit local villages to experience island life, traditional governance systems, and cultural performances, such as colourful boat races called “Jahadhoni.” Minicoy is the perfect island with seclusion, great natural beauty, and also offers marine adventure.
