January 16

On January 16, the Temple Trust organised a special religious event called Prayaschita and Karmakuti Poojan. The priest appointed by the trust conducted a ceremony known as the 'Dashvidh' bath ritual on the banks of the Saryu River. This ritual involved worshipping Lord Vishnu and performing Godan, a practice of giving offerings in the form of cow to a Brahmin. Many devoted followers joined in to experience the energy and spiritual importance of the event.

On January 17, the ‘Parisar pravesh’ or entry of the idol into the temple premises will take place. This ceremony will be of great spiritual significance for the idol which will later be consecrated, and will visit the premises of the Ram Mandir for the first time. It is also planned that devotees will walk to the temple carrying a Mangal Kalash with the water from Sarayu River in it.

On January 18, three important events are planned: Aushadhadhivas, Kesaradhivas, and Ghritadhivas. On the same day, the idol of Ram Lalla, crafted by Arun Yogiraj, will be placed on its designated seat in the sanctum sanctorum or the ‘Garbha Griha’ of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. A grand ‘hawan’ ceremony will take place where a large fire pit will be prepared, along with the chanting of hymns and sacred vedic mantras, filling the atmosphere with positive energies and spiritual power. It is also said that Agni Sthapana and Navagraha Sthapana will take place on the same day.
