Worshipping Lord Vishnu

In the Hindu trinity of Gods, we have Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh (Lord Shiva). One created the Universe, the other helps it function, and when evil takes over, one destroys and transforms it all.
And Lord Vishnu is the operator of the Universe, making sure that evil does not spread its wings too far, and everything works according to divine will. He is the one who sustains order, dharma, and peace, and people turn to him not just for worldly blessings but also for inner peace, strength, and healing. It is said that Lord Vishnu’s presence, be it as Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, Matsya avatar, or another avatar, carries an energy so deep and beautiful that it calms the restless mind and helps people remove any ounce of doubt and confusion from life.
And so, here we mention 6 powerful mantras of Lord Vishnu that help heal from within.

2/7

ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय

One of the most famous mantras of Lord Vishnu is this one. ‘Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya’ means ‘I bow to Lord Vishnu, the divine power who is everywhere’.
It is also known as the Dwadasakshari mantra, because it has twelve syllables, and is simple to remember and chant, which makes it very powerful and helpful for people. It is said that chanting this mantra, or listening to it on repeat helps people connect with Lord Vishnu’s energies and brings inner calm and mental clarity.

And thus, many people chant it 108 times when they are in prayer.

3/7

Vishnu Stuti

Another powerful mantra of Lord Vishnu is this one - ‘Shantakaram Bhujagashayanam Padmanabham Suresham Vishwadharam Gaganasadrisham Meghavarnam Shubhangam’. The first two lines of the Stuti, this one says ‘Lord Vishnu is the one who is calm in nature, rests on the Sheshnag, has a lotus navel, is the lord of gods, supports the universe, looks like the sky in colour, and has a peaceful form’. It is about the attributes of Lord Vishnu, and his nature.
This is usually chanted when devotees wish to keep their ‘dhyaan’ on Lord Vishnu, and thus remember his peaceful, yet grand form.

4/7

ॐ नमो नारायणाय

Another simple, but powerful mantra is ‘Om Namo Narayana’, which just means ‘I bow to Lord Vishnu (Narayan)’.
It is the universal mantra of surrender to Lord Vishnu, and when devotees engage in the chant of OM Namo Narayana, they will notice a shift in energies within them. Why? Because both OM and Narayan have immense power, and by surrendering to Lord Vishnu, you give him your all, and ask for blessings, protection, and much more.
When you chant this mantra 108 times, or even less but with complete dedication and concentration, you start feeling protected by divine energies, and heal from the inside out.

5/7

Mangal shloka

Another mantra of Lord Vishnu is ‘Mangalam Bhagwan Vishnuh, Mangalam Garudadhwajah, Mangalam Pundarikakshah, Mangalaya Tano Harih’
The mantra means ‘I pray that Lord Vishnu, who is the epitome of auspiciousness, who rides the Garuda, and who has lotus-like eyes, brings goodness and well-being into our lives.’ It is a prayer for good health, good relationships, and a good life in general, and chanting this mantra with full devotion is no less than a blessing.
It is chanted during rituals, ceremonies, and more, but even if you chant it while in dhyaan, it can help heal from within, and bring spiritual well-being in life.

6/7

Vishnu Gayatri mantra

A mantra of Lord Vishnu that heals people from the inside out is ‘Om Shri Vishnave Cha Vidmahe Vasudevaya Dhimahi Tanno Vishnu Prachodayat’. It is also called the Vishnu Gayatri mantra, and is like a request to Lord Vishnu to bless the devotee with wisdom, guidance, light in life, and more.
When people chant it regularly, overtime they see better mental focus, have a sense of inner wisdom, are less confused in life, and feel like the hand of Lord Vishnu is always near them, ready to protect them and guide them.

7/7

Maa Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu mantra

A mantra that has all the ‘beej’ sounds is this one. It says ‘Om Shreem Hreem Kleem Shreem Siddha Lakshmi Narayan Namah’. It is basically a mantra that combines the energy of Maa Lakshmi, the giver of wealth, abundance, and prosperity, with the energy of Lord Vishnu, the giver of healing, balance, and satisfaction.
The beej mantra of ‘Shreem’, ‘Hreem’, and ‘Kleem’ activates different parts of life, and helps attract good energies when you chant the mantra with devotion and concentration. And when you say ‘Siddha Lakshmi Narayana’, you invoke the purest and most powerful energy of the divine couple, asking them to bless you with what you deserve.
