Your resume is not tailored to meet the demands
One glaring mistake you might be doing is sending out a generic resume or cover letter to all the jobs you have applied for. It only shows that you lack precision and enough effort to make it look professional.
You’re not prepping for interview questions
Lacking confidence and the inability to answer questions correctly at an interview will definitely cost you. Even though your resume may look impressive, it will mean little if you fail to answer questions with gait and precision.
You’re coming off either too strong or meek
Your personality tells a lot about yourself. If you come across as an overly excited person, it can a huge red flag to many interviewers. On the other hand, if you’re too meek in presenting your case or negotiating your terms, then the interviewer might not take you as a team player. Basically, you need to be neutral on all terms. You need to add some uniqueness to yourself that only you can spin.
