From having long working hours and low pay to doing work that is considered to be menial, here we list the 10 worst jobs in the world, as per TopResume.

At number 10, we have the job of a Whale Snot Collector. For the unversed, marine biologists often collect whale snot from blue and grey whales for various tests and studies. This is a dangerous job-- as the Whale Snot Collector has to fly a small, propeller-driven plane above a whale and wait when they sneeze to catch their snot and transport it to lab!

Forensic Entomologist

At number 9, we have the job of a Forensic Entomologist-- they are professionals who are called at crime scenes to determine the exact time of death of a person. Imagine being a specialist and taking the lead to investigate a crime scene, experiencing the smell rotting flesh and blood on a daily basis. Now, this job isn't for the faint hearted.

The 8th worst job in the world, as per TopResume, is that of a Roadkill Removal Specialist. You must have seen animals getting hit and killed in road accidents. Well, their dead bodies are then removed from the road by Roadkill Removal Specialist on a daily basis.

The 7th worst job in the world, as per TopResume, is that of Sewage Worker. It is considered on the dirtiest jobs in the world, which can also be fatal for thr worker if they don't have proper gears. As per some reports, in India roughly 1000 people have lost their lives by working as sewage cleaners.

At number 6 of the 10 worst jobs in the world list we have the profession of Head Lice Technician. Their work includes putting lice killing chemicals or products on the patients head, cleaning the home with steam, and giving preventive advice. As per TopResume, This Head Lice Technicians charge roughly $300 per head just to pick nits and live bugs.

The fifth worst job in the world is that of Manure Inspector, as per TopResume. Manure inspectors' job includes digging through animal poop, and checking the quality of each batch. The manure is then used for grwoing crops in farms.

Port-O-Potty Cleaner

Yes, you read that right! This is considered as the fourth worst job in the world, and rightly so. As the name suggests, the work of these professionals is to clean other people's waste which is often found on work sites, subway tunnels, bus stations, etc. Their job also includes cleaning the pipelines if it is clogged, refilling toilet paper if needed, and emptying the trash.

Diaper Service Worker

At number 3, we have the job of Diaper Service Worker. As the name suggests, the job of these worker is to manually remove/ change cloth diapers of kids whose parents don't want to do the dirty job. Parents are often given pail liners that can replace their kids' soiled diapers. When filled, they are then left on the porch of the house which is then picked up by dry cleaners who only work with diapers.

The second worst job in the world, as per TopResume, is that of a Crime Scene Cleaner. As the name suggests, their job is to clean up blood, urine, or any other dangerous/ harmful materials from the crime scenes.

And the job of a motel maid tops the chart of the 10 worst jobs in the world. Why? Well, they are overworked and underpaid, and also often mistreated by others.
