In case, you feel panda is your spirit animal and your life is incomplete without meeting (and hugging) one, you do not need to travel all the way to China. Here’s a list of other places in the world where you can spot this fur-ball and go aww…!

Berlin, Germany

The zoo in Berlin has a female panda named Meng Meng and a male named Jiao Qing. They brought to the zoo in 2017 and the zookeepers are expecting the arrival of a baby panda in the next three years.

​Edinburgh, Scotland

Not many know but RZSS Edinburgh zoo is the only one in the entire UK that is the home of two identical pandas— Tian Tian (Sweetie) and Yang Guang (Sunshine). In case you are an animal lover, the zoo also has koalas, red panda, penguins and a huge variety of birds.

​Brugelette, Belgium

Pairi Daiza in Brugelette, Belgium is the home of three pandas and is one of the few zoos in Europe where a panda was born in the last decade. Tian Bao, a young male was born in 2016 to Xingh Hui and Hao Hao who arrived in the zoo in February 2014.

​Atlanta, USA

Zoo Atlanta is the only zoo in America that houses two twin pandas named— Ya Lun and Xi Lun. The other zoos in the US where you can see a panda include Smithsonian National Zoological Park, Chapultepec and San Diego Zoo.

​Tokyo, Japan

Ueno Zoo is Japan’s oldest zoo and got its first panda in 1972. Presently, it has two giant pandas Ri Ri and Shin Shin.

​Selangor, Malaysia

Zoo Negara in Malaysia has eleven-year-old Xing Xing and Liang Liang since 2014 and welcomed their baby panda in May this year.
