What's your number?

The Karma theory says - Accumulated karma results from past actions in this life or a previous one. Karmic debt is principally the belief that misdeeds and mistakes made by your spiritual being in the past lives are carried to the next life. Like any debt, this karmic energy that you’ve accumulated in your past lives will eventually come due and must be repaid.

Sometimes, we see people suffering without any known cause – for example, a child suffering from a life-threatening disease. We wonder – what the child might have done to be in this stage. It obviously has to do with past life deeds and their repayment. Karmic Debt theory in numerology is purely based on past life and its outcomes. Karmic Debt numbers are 13, 14, 16 and 19.

How to calculate your Karmic Debt Number

Try the day-of-birth method

This is the simplest method, and it involves correlating your day of birth with the karmic debt numbers. If you happen to share a birthday with the values 13, 14, 16 or 19, then these digits are automatically associated with you. So if you were born on the 14th of April, for example, then your corresponding digit is automatically 14.

Personality number

The second method is reliant on calculating your personality number. This number represents the way you are perceived by people. The calculation involves your birthday and birth month digits. If you’re born on the 4th of June, for example, your personality number would be 4 + 6 = 10. 10 is again a combination of 1 + 0 = 1. This makes your personality number here 1.

It uses a simple formula that relates numbers from 1 to 9 to the four karmic debt numbers.

Life path number 4 = Karmic debt number 13 (1 + 3 = 4).

Life path number 5 = Karmic debt number 14 (1 + 4 = 5).

Life path number 7 = Karmic debt number 16 (1 + 6 = 7).

Life path number 1 = Karmic debt number 19 (1 + 9 = 10, 1 + 0 = 1).

If you have a personality number that isn’t 1, 4, 5 or 7, it means that you’re not carrying any karmic debt.

Let’s look at each of these numbers and their effect on people born on these dates, as explained by Aacharya Kiran Arora & Sadhna Arora, Astrology, Vastu, Numerology Expert

2/5

Karmic debt number: 13

When we talk about number 13 – it comprises numbers 1 and 3 which are owned by the planets Sun and Jupiter respectively. A total of 1 and 3 is 4 which is representative of Rahu! Rahu is also known as a node.

It is usually seen that people born on the 13th of any month love shortcuts, they prefer easier ways out. They are usually stubborn and negative thinkers. They can be referred to as pessimists. They may find it a bit difficult to manage a given task as they may have to face a lot of hurdles and problems in doing so. This load can make people want to give up easily and get frustrated. But, if these people push themselves, and do hard work then they are game changers too! Only discipline in actions and lifestyle can take you miles.

Remedy: It is suggested to feed jaggery to cows on Thursdays.

3/5

Karmic Debt Number: 14

When we talk about number 14 - it comprises numbers 1 and 4 which are owned by the planets Sun and Rahu respectively. A total of 1 and 4 is 5, which is representative of mercury. It is seen that natives born on the 14th of any month usually see a lot of changes which is believed to be a result of freedom misuse they did in the previous birth. Natives born on this date are prone to get involved in wrongdoings and addictions like alcohol, drugs etc.

The environment around these people keeps on changing and therefore, to survive, they keep on accommodating themselves in the best way possible.

However, if such people refrain from getting involved in the wrong things even during the ups and downs of life then they can overcome the karmic debt they bring from previous birth. Following a routine and making sure that they do not indulge in any addictions can help these people. Such natives are suggested to keep faith in Universe and its abundance.

Remedy: Giving food to fish and black ants can be fruitful.

4/5

Karmic Debt Number: 16

When we talk about number 16 – it comprises numbers 1 and 6 which are owned by the planets Sun and Venus respectively. A total of 1 and 6 is 7 which is representative of Ketu! Ketu is also known as a node.

It is usually observed that people born on the 16th of any month spoil their today due to their past. So, if these natives break free from their past and learn from their experiences, they can get into high spiritual realms. The ones who have their Karmic Debt Number as 16 will have to be very careful that they do not be engrossed or obsessed with themselves and become self-seeking or conceited.

Such natives need to drop their egos to live a whole and happy life.

Remedy: It is suggested to apply saffron tilak on the forehead every day.

5/5

Karmic Debt Number – 19

When we talk about number 19 – it comprises numbers 1 and 9 which are owned by the planets Sun and Mars respectively. A total of 1 and 9 is 1 which is again the number of Sun or Surya.

Natives born on the 19th of any month usually tend to utilize their maximum potential to face troubles and solve issues themselves. This being a good trait is negative too as they do not pay any heed to any advice given to them hence, sometimes getting into aggravated situations. Such people do not accept their mistakes easily as well due to the presence of a lot of Sun energy!

But it is essential for people with 19 as the Karmic Debt Number to be more malleable and acknowledge the advice and from others with open arms; otherwise, it will restrict their interface with others and have an opposing effect on them. They need to understand that they are intelligent, but the world is not a fool either!

Remedy: Keep 10% of your income aside to give medicines to the poor and needy.
