Tips on how to bond with your would-be-bhabhi

When you are about to have a new member in the house, especially your brother’s better half, you want to make it as amicable as you can. It is not easy because everyone has his or her own quirks, but you have to begin somewhere. So here are some tips that will help you bond with your would-be-bhabhi.

2/6

Shopping together

Shopping always brings people together and no one can ever be unhappy with bags in the hand. And since you will be shopping for your sister-in-law, invite her and have a blast. This way you will get to know her and get time to bond as well.

3/6

Help with the bachelorette

Plan her bachelorette with her sisters and friends. This way you will get to meet her closest girlfriends and know more about your bhabhi. You may even become a part of the inner squad.

4/6

Be warm

You must always be warm to not just her but her family as well whenever you meet. She will be nervous about adjusting with a new family so why not ease her in and take care of some of her inhibitions.

5/6

Plan a dinner date for her

Get a little more involved and help your brother plan a dinner date for her. It will be a backstage gesture but when she will get to know, she will indeed warm up to you.

6/6

Sangeet surprise

Amid one of the wedding functions like the sangeet, plan a little surprise for her. Introduce her to the family Hum Saath Saath Hain style perhaps! This will be something special to her and you will help her begin her new journey on a good note too.
