These filmy couples inspire us to be good partners

They loved each other, respected boundaries, gave each other space as per respective roles and blew all our minds. These on-screen couples gave us relationship goals and you will agree too. So scroll down, and let us know if we need to add more such couples who are well balanced even if a tad bit twisted.

2/6

Baby & Johnny

This beautiful couple had us all dreaming about our future boyfriend who would be as considerate and thoughtful as Johnny including his moves. The “Dirty Dancing” couple was memorable and the movie too is a must-watch.

3/6

Kat Stratford and Patrick Verona

The “10 Things I Hate About You” couple made us believe in Shakespearen love. The classic tales and the chemistry of these two characters gave us relationship goals even if they were unreal. They inspired us to be better lovers and partners because the bar for great love was raised.

4/6

Bella Swan and Edward Cullen

Some habits of Edward were panned when the Twilight series released but what we did love and cannot be questioned is the amount of loyalty they had towards each other. They believed in each other and the trust was deep. They overcame the worst of obstacles as one unit and that gives us some basic relationship goals.

5/6

Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt-Bukater

This Titanic couple had us all and how. We fell in love with love and the couple they made was nothing but epitome of perfection in a twisted way. They belonged to different backgrounds but they respected the good in each other. Jack gave Rose the courage and push to fly high and believe in herself and Rose did not take him for granted. They trusted each other’s instincts, believing that the other could do it even though Jack could have lost his hands when Rose aimed for the handcuffs with an ax.

6/6

Ram & Leela

The movie may have faced a lot of issues with religious folks and the censor board but what we cannot forget is the oozing chemistry between Ram and Leela. They had their own strong characters and personalities, were full of self confidence and supported each other. They stood their ground and fulfilled the duties they had towards their respective families even when their love for each other was killing them. It was all about respecting the other’s boundaries and decisions. There was no blame game as such, their love was so deep.
