These 5 factors can KILL your relationship

These factors can KILL your relationship

It takes a lot of work when it comes to maintaining a marriage or a relationship. Everyone struggles because you are two different individuals so two different ways of thinking are bound to clash someday. This is when you pay attention, adjust and learn to let go of what you can. Amid all that, there are 5 factors that must be kept in mind or else your relationship will die a slow death.

2/6

Ugly fights

All couples fight and it is normal. However, when these fights do not get that closure, someone slams the door and leaves and leaves the elephant in the room hanging, the subject remains unresolved, it brings in that negativity. The looming negativity in turn can stretch the cold war. If you have such fights again and again, without solving the issue and leaving your words hanging in the air, the love slowly disappears.

3/6

Lack of kindness

Saying the word “NO” to everything your partner suggests can become very disappointing for them. Also, not helping with small chores in the house adds to the frustration. In turn, if either partner does do these chores then the other must acknowledge and appreciate the fact that they did something. If none of the above is happening then one partner is definitely going to feel that you do not care about him/her and that they are being taken for granted. The reciprocation, acknowledgement and helping is very important in every relationship.

4/6

No sex

Sex is not just about desire, it also adds and brings in intimacy. If either partner denies sex everytime to the other, there is a possibility that the relationship is nearing its end. Coming to a solution and working on that spark is very important here.

5/6

Not sharing your feelings

If you bottle up your feelings and not discuss anything with your partner, it can lead to a lot of pent up frustration and eventually lead to miscommunication. Also, your partner will feel that you are creating a distance and shutting him/her out. That is not what a relationship is. In a relationship you are partners where you are transparent with each other, solve all problems together. And sometimes, it is enough to be a good listener and not respond to everything. Let your partner vent it out.

6/6

Making “Sorry” a routine

Any word becomes meaningless if it is repeated too often and the actions speak otherwise. This is applicable especially to words like sorry. There are two scenarios to that and both must be discontinued or else you either end up losing your self esteem or your partner’s frustration levels keep increasing. First one is when you say sorry for everything even when it is not your mistake and you apologise for your partner’s mistakes too. The second one is when you make the same mistakes over and over again and say sorry every time. So work on those or else your relationship is bound to go downhill.
