Look out for these signs; better safe than sorry

Jealousy is undeniably the worst feeling one can have, especially if your partner projects feelings of extreme jealousy and possessiveness, thus restricting you from doing and meeting people you love. While some may agree that a little jealousy always keeps the spark alive in a relationship, too much of it can slowly destroy it too. To help you stay in the clear, here are some signs you have an unhealthy, jealous partner.

2/6

They want you to themselves

If your partner wants you all to themselves, all the time, then it’s a sign of unhealthy jealous behaviour. They are obsessed with you so much that they don’t like the idea of you being alone or spending time with others.

3/6

They are emotionally dependent

They depend too much on you for their emotional support. Rather than being content with what they have, they will always want you to be available for them, every second and minute of the day. They might have no regard for your time and availability.

4/6

They like to control

One of the first signs of a jealous person is that they love to control and manipulate people. And if your partner makes you feel bad, sympathetic, guilty etc. according to their mood and benefit, then they may not be the best for you.

5/6

They keep a track on you on social media

You will always find your partner at the top of any list that includes you and social media. While you may think it’s good that they are so attentive, it may not be so good after all, because they are stalking you continuously to know your whereabouts.

6/6

You have to validate your actions

Do you always feel pressurised to tell your partner everything? That’s because they are subconsciously controlling you. You feel you have to validate your every action so that they feel satisfied. You also fear making them angry.
