Reasons why the guy hasn't called you even after asking for your number

The one question every woman must have asked herself at some point in life is, "Why hasn't he called?" Asking for a woman's number is the first thing that a guy does when they meet someone new and experience fireworks. And then comes the waiting period for the guy to call. Why do guys have a tendency to ask for a girl's number only to not call? There could be endless thoughts coming to your mind about this. Okay, if you're flattering yourself by thinking that you were the only woman who caught his eyes that day/night, you might be horribly wrong. It could be the case that this guy asked plenty of other women for their numbers and now he is facing trouble to remember which one was yours.

Now, you might think that since he took your number, he wouldn't resist and call the very next day. Secretly, that's also something you are eagerly waiting for. They don't like to rush and sound too desperate. They will wait for a perfect moment to contact you and then you'll get a call.

One major reason why the guy hasn't called you is that he is busy pursuing other priorities or other women. Obviously, he might have other things as top priorities that are taking all his attention. And if he is a womanizer, his urge to stay in contact with lots of women overpowers his devotion towards one woman.

Let's say you both had a great time together, he asked for your number and he hasn't called you ever since that day. It could be that you were too drunk to realize that he wasn't all that interested in you or you misinterpreted the clues of his affection for you. Maybe he isn't that confident when it comes to texting or calling women and that's why he expects you to make the first move. It would be much easier if men had the courage to tell women this exact thing, but then it would mean that they would have to call you to tell you. It's very hard to differentiate between a guy who is not interested in you and the one who is waiting for you to make the first move. But if you've somehow noticed that he was shy around you the first time, then maybe he belongs to the second category.
