Lessons to learn from Disney’s Beauty And The Beast

The story “Beauty And The Beast” can teach you a lot. You may not realise but it gives you many life lessons about how the world operates. So here are some crucial life lessons that you can learn and nuances you can pick up for daily functioning.

2/8

Ditch herd mentality

Stop doing what others are doing. You should listen to your heart and do what you want to do, pursue want to, no matter what people think about you. People give “gyaan” for free so let them be, they are not the ones running your life. If you think differently then it is good! Herd mentality makes you mediocre anyway.

3/8

Brain outlives brawn

Looks and physical strength can lead you to a certain point but if you do not have a brain then how will you use what you have? In the long run, wits take you places, knowledge helps climb mountains in combination with good strength right?!

4/8

Be passionate

It is very important to be passionate about something. Not having any passion in life takes you nowhere and even if it does, you will never have that feeling of accomplishment. Your passion can be your driving force in life and people respect you when you pursue something you love.

5/8

Love and fearlessness go together

When you are truly in love, you should be fearless. If you do not have the guts to face the world and fight for your love then you never really loved the person you claimed you did.

6/8

Self obsession takes you nowhere

If you are self absorbed and obsessed with your own reflection, you will realise that by the end, you are left alone. No one respects such an attitude and you yourself are in denial of reality. There is a world beyond you and look beyond all that facade.

7/8

Take criticism head on

Criticism is good for you as it teaches you and corrects you in some ways. You cannot always be right. Brave it and learn from it if there is something valuable in it and if it is negative then ignore it and not let it affect you. If in your heart you know it is right then let it be. People will always judge you but it is up to you what you do with it.

8/8

You deserve the best

Never lower your self esteem and settle for the second or third best. You should know that you are worthy of happiness and success. Strive for your dreams and make them come true instead of second guessing yourself.
