Reasons why people laugh a lot

Some people laugh a lot and they seem cheerful all the time as if they are never sad and always take life in their stride, making lemonades using all that lemons thrown at them. But not many realise that there could be other reasons behind that cheer. Scroll down to know what exactly goes on in the minds of people who laugh a lot.

2/6

Helplessness

Some people laugh it out when they feel helpless in a given situation. People who generally have helpless laughter, are mentally unsettled and unhappy and deeply disturbed in their lives. It could also mean that the issue that is making them helplessly laugh, is extremely serious and they are unable to handle it.

3/6

They want to diffuse a situation

A small chuckle or a little laughter has the power to diffuse a grave, serious and dangerous situation. Where there is potential conflict, laughter eases it, it works on stress and anxiety as well. So, many intelligent people laugh out at the “wrong time” to calm down the atmosphere or themselves.

4/6

Fake laugh

We do not always find a joke funny but if we simply want to please someone, we laugh at their dumbest of jokes just so they feel good about themselves. Many people do this as a social habit. They fake laugh!

5/6

Pathological Clinical Disorder

It is possible that the laughter that you are seeing is due to a pathological issue that developed due to some kind of drugs or it is simply a clinical pathological case.

6/6

You or the situation is funny

This is the basic reason why people laugh. Your joke or situation could be genuinely funny. Your sense of humor could be deadly in a good sense and the other person is simply admiring it.
