Activities all couples should do together

Sleeping together is not the only thing a couple must do to strengthen their bond. After a while what will you do when age sets in and your libido goes for a toss? There are many other must-do activities that work on bringing you closer, knowing each other better and keep you both glued together in a relationship. So do these activities listed here and make sure you take the lead if your partner doesn’t. He/she will eventually start taking interest.

2/7

Visit a zoo/ wildlife sanctuary/National park together.

It sounds kiddish but this activity is very important. The kid in you will definitely come out and let your partner see that side of you and vice versa. Most of the time, we adults tend to share some or the other childhood memories when we go there. They show you their vulnerable side.

3/7

Learn a musical instrument together

Opt for some musical lessons be it a guitar, the piano, harmonium and tabla, we have so many musical instruments to work on. This is just one way of bringing in music into your life and add a harmony that will keep your marriage or relationship alive forever. Make sure you both do it so that your partner is never bored.

4/7

Write letters to each other

If you live in separate homes due to work or whatever reason, take inspiration from the old times of postcards and letters era. There was a romance in that. E-mail is fine, but a letter on parchment gives you butterflies irrespective of gender. Try it, you won’t regret it.

5/7

Go on picnics

Just the two of you, some fresh picnic food, some wine or beverage of your choice, some music on your radio and you both just lying down on a mat amid greenery. It is that perfect picture every couple craves even if they do not say it. Do it once a month at least. It will bring you two closer.

6/7

Take trips

It is always said that travelling with your partner makes you understand each other better, gives you more time to spend and brings out your best and the worst.

7/7

Cook together

Cooking is fun and this lockdown has taught the world that. Bake a cake together, split duties to make something awesome. Try an apple pie or a native dish which is otherwise difficult to make when tried individually. It bakes, seasons and adds flavour to your relationship as well.
