Follow these tips

There comes a time in the life of all couples when their intimate life gets sad, slow, or still. To rectify the situation, people try different ways to spice it up. If you are taking the Vastu shastra route then here are 7 bedroom Vastu-approved tips that are believed to bring positivity and harmony to the bedroom

2/8

The direction of the bedroom

The master bedroom should ideally be in the southwest corner of the house, as it is believed to promote peace, stability, and strength in relationships.

3/8

Bed placement

The bed should be in the southwest corner of the room with the headrest towards the east or south. This is believed to bring prosperity and happiness to the couple. When it comes to the material of the bed, as per Vastu, invest in wooden beds rather than metal or wrought iron beds as wooden beds produce positive energy. Metal and wrought iron beds are said to produce negative energy. This negative energy around the bed can be a major reason for stress and tension.

4/8

Colours

Soft and pastel hues in pink, blue, green, and lavender are considered to be ideal for the bedroom as they promote a calming and peaceful atmosphere.

5/8

Lighting

Soft and warm lighting is recommended in the bedroom. Harsh or bright lighting is believed to create tension and negativity.

6/8

Mirrors

Mirrors should be avoided in the bedroom as they are believed to disrupt the positive energy flow and create tension. If you have to have one in the room then make sure the bed does not reflect in the mirror.

7/8

Decor

Keep the decor minimal and clutter-free. Too many objects in the bedroom are believed to create a sense of chaos and disturbance.

8/8

Electronic gadgets

Avoid placing electronic gadgets like television, computers, or phones in the bedroom. They are said to interfere with sleep patterns and create unnecessary distractions.
