Examination stress is on the peak:

As the examination season is fast approaching in India, parents are doing everything they can to make it a stress-free time for their children. Vastu energies of a space affects the residents at all levels and our children too. We asked Vastu Acharya Manoj Shrivastava, what vastu changes can be made in the kid’s study room to enhance their concentration and grasping power.

2/6

Direction of the room matters:

For students, the vastu effect is most pronounced. It is prudent to make their study space conducive to fruitful studies. As per Vastu Acharya Manoj Shrivastava, the angular zone between West and Southwest of the house is the zone of knowledge. The best location of the study room is in this direction. In order to find the direction, stand with a compass at the centre of the house and identify the west of southwest and north east directions. Allot the west-southwest room to your kids and if that is not possible assign the north-east or east room as the study room.

3/6

Direction of study table:

The second most important change you can make, Vastu Acharya Manoj Shrivastava says, is to place the study table in a manner that the child faces the East or North while studying, this helps the child in grasping and retaining the knowledge.

4/6

Remove cleaning supplies:

For better concentration in studies, the west of southwest should be free from any broom, vacuum cleaner, mop or clutter and northeast must be free from clutter irrespective of whether the study rooms are in these directions or not.

5/6

Avoid toys and games:

Similarly placing toys, television, gaming stations in west-south-west causes distraction in studies. Instead, placing a Ganesha statue on the study table helps in grasping and recall.

6/6

Golden pen stand:

Another important factor for examination success is recall. The student should be able to recall what he or she learned during examinations and oral tests. Acharya Shrivastava suggests you place a gold-coloured pen-stand in the west or southwest to improve recall.
