​"Laapataa Ladies" is streaming on Netflix​


Kiran Rao's "Laapataa Ladies" is winning hearts every single day. Not just the central characters, each and every element of the movie has a lesson to teach. The movie has Sparsh Srivastav, Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Ravi Kishan, Chhaya Kadam as main characters. The story revolves around Jaya, Phool Kumari and Deepak Kumar; how Phool and Deepak get separated during the train journey and how Jaya ends up at Deepak's house and later goes back to pursue her dreams.

16 year old Nitanshi from Noida will forever be rememebered as Phool Kumari given her spectacular performance in "Laapataa Ladies". Her character is naïve and determined; pleasant and strong; humble and ambitious. She is a village girl who dreams big and is immensely proud of her upbringing. The iconic scene where she argues with Manju Maai and gets corrected by her is a must watch!

Phool was abandoned by her husband during the train journey. The young girl from village was all alone in a different place, she struggled to find a space. She had to trust strangers for shelter in an unknown place. However, despite everything her love for her husband Deepak did not change.

Despite hardship, Phool won Manju Maai's heart and partnered with her in running the tea stall. Phool Kumari exhibits an entrepreneurial spirit. She is resourceful and often finds creative ways to overcome obstacles. She also offers guidance, comfort, and a shoulder to lean on during difficult times.

After earning her first income from the tea stall, Phool decides to start her own venture after she reunites with her husband. This shows the true spirit of someone who faces adversity with courage. Phool Kumari exudes confidence and empowerment.

Phool Kumari adapted to the adverse situation quickly; she didn't sulk over it

Despite bragging about her perfect upbringing, she confides in Manju Maai, accepts her criticism, works with her and learns life lessons from her. Kids have a remarkable capacity for learning, often absorbing new information quickly and adapting to their environment with agility. Their young minds are highly receptive to knowledge, and they naturally explore, question, and experiment, facilitating rapid learning.
