7 easiest languages for kids to learn; take a look

Learning a second language during childhood can prove to be a fun and fruitful experience for children. Though it has been noticed that some languages are considered tricky owing to complicated grammar or different scripts, there are a few that are remarkably simple for children. Here are seven of them:

2/8

Italian

Italian has similarities to Spanish in speech and structure. Italian has musical qualities in its speech, so children enjoy pronouncing the language. Also, Italian has many cognates to English, so children can easily recall the vocabulary.

3/8

Spanish

The Spanish language is looked upon as one among the easiest languages to learn. The reason for this is that its pronunciation is very regular and most words in Spanish are spelled like they are pronounced. This is one language that kids can consider learning at a very young age.

4/8

French

French is a widely spoken language, and it is quite simpler for English-speaking kids because of similarities in word power and sentence structures. Children can begin with basic greetings, songs, and cartoon programs in French.

5/8

Dutch

The grammar of the Dutch language is easy when considering other languages in Europe, as well as similarities with the English language. They can quickly learn those easy phrases from the Dutch language, and pronunciation is very easy.

6/8

Portuguese

The Portuguese language is having very easy phonetics as well as grammar. Moreover, as both Portuguese and Spanish languages come from Latin languages, it will be easy to teach Portuguese languages to kids if they already know some knowledge about other Romance languages.

7/8

Swedish

Grammar arrangement of Swedish languages is very easy, and unlike other languages, conjugation is not present in Swedish languages. They can easily learn words as well as pronunciation, and many fun storybooks in Swedish languages exist.

Norwegian

8/8

Norwegian

Norwegian is considered one of the easiest languages among English-speaking people. Sentence arrangement is easy in Norwegian languages, just like English languages. Few grammar rules exist in Norwegian languages.

At a young age, learning a different language enables not only learning words of that language but improves their memory, creative work, as well as problem-solving powers. Choosing such languages that can be easily learnt gives strength to kids to learn other languages as they grow up.
