A girl dotes on her father

A girl sees the world through the eyes of her father. A daughter is considered to be the biggest blessing for a man.

Read: How to share your feelings with your kids without overwhelming them

Therefore, the onus of teaching the best to the daughter mostly lies on the father, for he is the one she trusts the most and he is the one she will look for in case of trouble.

2/6

"Your priorities are as important as anything else"

Do not always be ready to give up your dreams and ambitions because society wants you to do so. Give yourself importance.

Do not succumb to the rules that were randomly set centuries before. Things have changed now. You see a different world now which was a distant dream for girls of your age before.

Set your priorities beforehand so that you have enough time to complete it.

3/6

"Do not settle for less"

Since ages, women have been seen as the inferior gender who depend on the male gender for money, position and even survival.

Do not follow this.

Today, you have access to everything starting from the right education to the right of voting to the right of doing a job. Do not settle for less by bowing down before the unwritten rules dictated by someone whom we do not even know.

4/6

"Missed opportunity is a lost opportunity"

With access to so many opportunities, you should know that every opportunity that comes in your way should be grabbed. Do not budge an inch without seizing the opportunity.

Always remember, a missed opportunity is a lost opportunity. You might miss an opportunity under several excuses, but there is no chance you are getting that again.

5/6

"Age is just a number"

I know you must have come across several discussions and anecdotes on how the age of a woman is important. How a woman is valued during her prime years and how that value withers away as she gets old.

You must have also heard that for a woman it is very necessary to get married and marriage is a possibility only if it happens within a certain age.

I humbly request you, do not believe that. None of these is true. I can give you hundreds of examples where women have broken the shackles of wrong beliefs and have made a place for them in the world.

6/6

"Beauty is a woman's asset"

What it actually means is the beauty of the mind and soul, whereas it is misconstrued as the beauty of the outer world and the beauty of the body.

A beautiful mind and a pure soul are the biggest assets for every human being. Being a growing woman you should know this from an early age.

Nobody likes people with a haughty attitude. Your bad attitude won't make you a favorite person even if you grow up to be a beautiful woman.
