Classy table-setting themes this festive season

2/10

This festive season

Diwali is approaching in full swing this month and it’s time to turn our attention to stunning tablescapes. Knowing that the food and drinks selection is of utmost importance, what makes your guests feel extra special is a beautifully laid out table when they sit down to eat.

A chic table setting will not only spark up an upscale party but, it will also stir lively conversation. When it comes to hosting a casual yet classy lunch or an evening soiree to celebrate a festive occasion you can elevate every occasion by introducing your chic tableware.

4/10

This Diwali, appreciate being gathering around the table to celebrate our friends and loved ones

5/10

Here are some go-to tips for recreating the festive mood at home:

6/10

Turquoise and white hints

Tablescape in white and turquoise colors is associated with warmth and love. Pastel tones of turquoise color are between blue and green which look soothing and restorative, especially when hosting a joyful brunch. To complement the theme, white and turquoise tableware, a white tablecloth, a glass vase with pops of turquoise and fresh flowers combined beautifully with unique candleholders to create inexpensive table centerpieces that add drama and bright colors to welcoming guests.

7/10

Pastel Hues

Tableware motif with pastel-hues offset with serving pieces in wooden accents that enhance the naturalistic setting. This festive season, rustic textures and premium styles that create an attractive & welcoming vibe is popular. A mundane setting is given a spin by the addition of accents in moss green, beige, and powder pink. For the festive season, fashion a table with thematic colors; stacking pastel dinnerware and pairing them with stemmed glasses that make an opulent statement.

8/10

Opaque textures

Be experimentative this season with a directional table spread replete with bold, mismatched patterns and contemporary aesthetics as long as they stay within the color scheme. The key to this look is to have it feel nonchalant and layered with unique pieces. Marble touch which isn’t a traditional festive style is an eccentric manner of adding one’s own flair to a Diwali table setting. For someone who is typically a classic white fan can opt for a dinnerware option that has a unique mix of white for a festive twist. You should know that simple patterns can be ideal for festive dining for anyone who swears by minimalism.

9/10

Using tableware for table setting and beyond

For a polished look over the table, one can add in those refined centerpieces or gracious flower vases to enliven the tablespace. You can also create your own centerpiece with a versatile tableware range by placing flowers into mugs or by using bowls as candleholders and a touch of greenery. Make sure your table is shining with the perfect placement of tablecloth and use contrasting table runners, laying them horizontally across the table. This will help you to define each place setting. The quality and feel of your tableware are vital to accentuate the look of your table and ceramics are versatile besides being beautiful and durable. These can be used to complement any theme that you choose and will last with you this festive season and beyond.

10/10

Bringing in the glassware

Now for the drinks. When it comes to glassware, more is less each place should be set with all the glasses from wine and water glasses to champagne, that will be used during the meal. These glasses should be placed in the order in which they will be used. For example, the water glass belongs to the right of the plate followed by your wine glasses to the right of the water glass. Clean design glassware like handcrafted crystal glasses are essential and can be easily paired up with any color, shape, or style of tableware.
