Right spot for the things to be stored in the bathroom

An average person spends about 30 minutes in the bathroom in a day. And out of convenience we try to keep most of the products we use to get ready inside the bathroom. But these items need to be placed or stored right so that they do not get distorted due to the wet and hot climate inside this small area. The climate inside the bathroom area also affects some of the products we use and hence it becomes even more crucial to place things in the right way.

2/10

Bar Soap

Sometimes keeping soaps close to the shower steams can shorten its time span of usability. It breaks the soap down and results in building residue in the bathroom. The ideal way to store a soap bar is to keep it on a cleanser dish with openings that let it dry, outside of the shower area.

3/10

Perfumes

Storing aromas in bathrooms destroy their molecular structure and cause them to sour. To store perfumes for longer, place a wall cabinet or pantry outside of the restroom.

4/10

Razors

Shower steams build up humidity in the bathroom which in turn rusts blades and damages skin. Even after properly drying it, storing it in the bathroom can abbreviate the life expectancy of your razor. It is advisable to store then inside a wall cabinet.

5/10

Towels

Warmth and mugginess make washrooms an ideal place for microorganisms to grow, which later gets exchanged to our skin through towels. The best way to use a towel in a more hygienic way is to wash it after every use. If it is not possible to wash your towel everyday, it is advisable to sun-dry them nicely everyday.

6/10

Moisturisers and Creams

When the creams aren’t firmly closed or sealed, the sodden air in the bathroom energizes disturbance or skin break out, making way for microorganisms to grow. So, the ideal spot to store your skin health management items is a dry cabinet outside the restroom or in the fridge.

7/10

Makeup Brushes

Brush cleaning is important to avoid bacterial growth otherwise warm air in the bathroom forms microbes that spread on them and while applying makeup causes skin irritation.

8/10

Jewels and trinkets

Bathrooms aren't the right place to keep the adornments even if you just take it off before stepping into the shower. The humid climate will cause the adornments to oxidize quicker, making it lose sparkle and stain. So it's better to store them in cupboards or jewellery boxes.

9/10

Toothbrush

Dentists recommend keeping toothbrushes away from showers, in a place it can dry completely or in a close lid to put away from germs and bacteria.

10/10

Bathrobes

Putting damp robes right after shower could harbor germs, bacteria and humidity giving them an unpleasant smell. Rather than keeping your shower robe on a snare in your washroom, hang it in a spot where it can air dry
