10 Vastu tips to keep your mental health balanced

These are difficult times for us all. Living with a sustained fear of health risk and also uncertainties of the economy having a direct impact on an individual’s revenue source could be very trying. Man being a social animal, having to maintain social distancing and nuclear families or working individuals living alone in the cities devoid of any support systems, are at high risk of mental and emotional issues. Here are some tips from vastu expert Dr. Raviraj Ahirrao that can help maintain a perfect equilibrium in the house leading to a positive and peaceful frame of mind.
2/11

The defect!

A vastu defect in the North-East region of the house directly leads to mental instability. To negate this risk it is important to keep the northeast region clean and clutter-free. Presence of a toilet, septic tank, heavy storage or even a dustbin should be avoided. On the other hand, having a water element, entrance to the living room, bathroom or the abode of God makes NE positive and healthy.
3/11

Excessive extension

Excessive extension in the North West and or in South East direction will lead to compression or heavy cut in the North East may lead to the cause of frustration and depression.
4/11

Did you ever think about the placement of plants?

Having excessive plants in the east can cause effects on mental health issues.

6/11

The water element

Having a water element in the Southeast region which originally depicts the fire element, can lead to disturbance in mental peace.
7/11

Peace and confidence

Proper Vastu in the south region of a house contributes to the peace and confidence of the inhabitants. The color red in the south enhances comfort levels.
8/11

Mental stability

The Southwest region of the home is an important region for mental stability. It ensures stability, leadership and vigilance which can be achieved by having the master bedroom in this region.
9/11

Northwest is a zone of depression

The west of Northwest is a zone of depression. Presence of a bedroom or long exposures in this region can lead to a series of failures which ultimately leads to frustration and depression.
10/11

The mandir

Presence of the abode of God in the South or South-west creates obstacles to all situations of life leading to mental disturbance. However, immediately shifting it to the North-East region can drastically remove all the obstacles.
11/11

The colour blue!

Frustration and depression can also happen if there is a presence of the colour blue, lightweight structures or a toilet entrance towards the living room in the South of southwest region of a house.
