Yoga poses for prostate health

Men's bladder or prostate-related disorders are a natural and expected aspect of ageing. Even though they are not thought to be dangerous, they could irritate people, which is why many men look for strategies to reduce the symptoms. Some of these signs and symptoms include the inability to start or stop urinating, frequent urination, an ongoing need to urinate, etc. These consistent problems may develop into prostate cancer if not taken care of. There are specific yoga poses that have been shown to be effective in preventing this problem. The pelvic floor muscles can be strengthened and improved through yoga techniques.

Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar, yoga guru, Founder, Akshar Yoga Institutions, says “Asanas can aid in pelvic floor muscle strengthening, which lowers pelvic tension, helps to improve bladder control, and facilitates urination. Along with pelvic floor exercise, the following yoga poses can also be helpful in improving the symptoms of an enlarged prostate, and reduce stress.”

Do these yoga poses everyday to keep your prostate health in tune with your body:

2/7

Vajrasana - Thunderbolt pose

Kneel down gradually, putting your heels on your pelvis. If you have any knee problems, you can place a pillow on your calves. Maintain an outward-facing toe and heels that are spaced slightly apart. Put your hands in the Prapthi Mudra with palms facing up and straighten your back. Hold your forward gaze for 10 to 15 seconds.

3/7

Mandukasana – Frog Pose

Place your right palm on your left palm while still in the Vajrasana stance, keeping them both on your belly button or navel. Now, without using too much force, softly squeeze your stomach in. Breathe out and bend forward, keeping your eyes straight. Hold this position for a while while holding your breath. Inhale slowly, then reset your posture.

4/7

Shalabasana Variation – Locust Pose

Place your palms under your shoulders as you snooze face down on your stomach. Inhale while elevating the right hand and left leg behind you while keeping your feet together. Lift your head and chest while keeping your knees straight. To lower your torso, exhale, then repeat on the opposite side. For 10 to 15 seconds, maintain the posture.

5/7

Marjariasana Variation – Cat Cow Pose

From the tabletop position or Marjari asana, take a deep breath and slowly raise your right arm. Position it parallel to the floor and in line with your shoulder. Lift the opposing leg up behind you at the same time. Align your pelvis with it as you straighten it. Keeping your head and neck in a straight line, balance yourself on your left palm and right knee.

6/7

Naukasana or boat pose

Legs extended front and back straight, take a seat on your mat. Taking a deep breath, raise both legs, keeping them at a 30 to 45 degree angle. Avoid arching your back and maintain your balance on your sitting bones.

7/7

Sarpasana - snake pose

Put your fingers together behind your back while lying on your stomach. Lifting your upper body upward while exhaling, extend your interlocked hands behind you. Keep your feet planted on the ground.

Lifestyle habits to improve prostate health: Long durations of sitting place a lot of strain on your prostate gland, which over time leads to inflammation. If you have a desk job and must sit for long periods of time, be sure to take frequent breaks and move around quickly. You should also consume water to maintain your hydration. Regular yoga practise aids in balancing the body's hormones, which are another factor in any prostate-related issues.

It is important to have photos of those attractive young ladies doing yoga poses to prevent prostate cancer. It is irrelevant women do not have a prostate gland. Drawing attention is important.
