Weird food habits of Donald Trump

The former President of the United States of America is a man of several eccentricities and is an interesting personality. He is known to be a risk-taker and is someone who has never shied away from his love for food. One of the controversial personalities, some of the eating habits of ex-US President Donald Trump are very unusual. Here are some of his unusual eating habits that are to some level a bit odd. Consuming too much diet coke

The former POTUS is someone who likes his ‘diet coke’ a lot. As per New York Times (NYT), Donald Trump can consume as many as 12 cans of Diet Coke in a day. As per a report in Hollywood Life, Trump is a germaphobe and his love for diet coke is so much so that during the pandemic, he once asked his drink to be presented in a certain way and the pouring involved seven steps. He also had a red button in his Oval Office which he would press down whenever he felt like drinking his soda.

3/6

Lover of unhealthy food

Trump is a big-time lover of unhealthy food choices and enjoys foods like Potato Chips, Oreos, Burgers, Pretzels and Fried Chicken. As per the NYT, when Donald Trump was the President of the US, there used to be bacon pieces and well-done steaks in the White House dinners along with gravy and a dessert with an extra scoop of ice cream.

4/6

Weakness for McDonald's Big Mac

It’s something that has been documented and his first wife Ivana Trump (who passed away yesterday) claimed in an interview that his greatest weakness is the “Big Mac from McDonald’s”. According to Let Trump Be Trump a book by Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie, the former US President would always order “two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish, and a chocolate malted”.

5/6

Loves Ice cream of Mt. Fuji size

As per a 2019 tweet from NYT Tokyo Bureau Chief, Trump attended the Imperial Banquet which served an ice cream that was shaped like Mt. Fuji.

6/6

Enjoys hard steak with ketchup

In an interview with The Washington Post, one of his regular butlers told that Trump loves eating his steak rock-hard. In his own words, the steak would be the rock on the plate, and it was so well done. The weird part about this steak eating is that he loves eating that with ketchup.
