4 morning drink rules of Malaika Arora

50-year-old Malaika Arora is one of the leading ladies of Bollywood, who is also known for her passion for fitness and healthy eating habits. It was during the pandemic that the actress started sharing her morning routine rituals, and it mostly included all things natural. From soaked nuts to superfood drinks, she swears by the Ayurvedic approach to life, where she uses spices and natural foods to boost her metabolism and immune system. This piece of information talks about four morning routine lessons that one can learn from the actress to keep the body fit, the gut healthy, and attain flawless skin.

3-ingredient weight loss drink


As per her Instagram posts, Malaika Arora begins her day with this 3-ingredient weight loss drink which includes fenugreek seeds, carom seeds, and cumin seeds. Fenugreek seeds are rich in fibre content and low in calories that keeps you full for longer and suppresses your appetite. And cumin seeds help in burning calories by increasing the speed of metabolism and boosts digestion too. Carom seeds aid in nutrient absorption and also increases the rate of metabolism. Subsequently, less fat gets stored in the body, which further helps in weight loss. All you need to do is, take 1 tbsp cumin seeds, 1 tbsp carom seeds, and 1 tbsp fenugreek seeds. Soak all the three seeds in a glass of water overnight. Strain and drink it on an empty stomach the next morning daily.

Warm water and lemon juice

In 2020, Malaika took to Instagram to share a simple yet effective weight loss drink, which she starts her day with. "Garam Pani and Nimbu for the win..." wrote Malaika Arora sharing a photo of the home remedy on Instagram story. The Instagram story showed a slice of lemon placed alongside a mug of warm water which she supposedly consumes as the first thing in the morning. As per Ayurveda, drinking a glass of lukewarm water with a few drops of lemon juice in it is considered to be one of the most effective remedies to boost metabolism and promote weight loss. The combination helps remove the toxins, and is also helpful in improving the functioning of the digestive system and controls issues like bloating and heartburn.

ABC juice with Ginger


The actress known for her healthy diet also enjoys ABC with Ginger in the morning. It refers to a healthy concoction of apple, beetroot, and carrot, to which Malaika adds ginger juice too. It is rich in fibre, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals like zinc, potassium, copper, iron, and manganese. As per experts, per serving of this juice contains only 150-160 calories and can be replaced with a light meal. As per experts, drinking this juice on an empty stomach helps in better detoxification and flushes out toxins from the body. It also helps in hydration. This juice can also help improve hemoglobin levels naturally and the antioxidants in this juice help in boosting white blood cells that keep infections at bay. The rich amount of antioxidants and vitamin C, K, E, and B complex helps in better skin elasticity and makes the skin glow. To make this, you need 2 apples, 1 carrot, 1/2 beetroot, and 1 tbsp ginger juice. Wash the fruits, peel and cut them into small pieces. Blend them together and at last add ginger juice. Stir well and drink with or without rock salt.

Morning cocktail

As per Malaika Arora's Instagram post from 2020, she swears by an age-old vitamin-C morning drink that she drinks on an empty stomach, which is highly effective in boosting the immune system. In the post, she wrote, "This is a true blue make in India home remedy. Age-old traditional tried and tested homemade immunity booster." To make this drink you need 1 amla, 1/2 tsp wet haldi, 1 tbsp ginger, 4-6 black peppercorns, and 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar. Wash and chop amla, ginger, and haldi. Add them to a blender jar along with peppercorns and water. Blend them to form a coarse paste. Squeeze the paste and strain the liquid. Add apple cider vinegar to it. Stir well and drink it fresh on an empty stomach for effective results.
