Maha Shivratri 2026: How to make Sabudana Tikki for evening snacking

Sabudana Tikki Recipe

Ingredients


1 cup sabudana, 2 medium boiled potatoes, ¼ cup roasted peanuts, 1–2 green chillies, 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, ½ tsp cumin powder, sendha namak to taste, and ghee or peanut oil for frying

Step 1



First of all, wash sabudana pearls and then soak in 1 cup of water for 4-5 hours.

In the meantime, roast the peanuts and once they cool down remove their peel by rubbing between the palms.

In a bowl, combine soaked sabudana, mashed potatoes, crushed peanuts, green chillies, coriander, cumin powder, and sendha namak.

Heat ghee in a pan and gently place the tikkis on it and shallow fry on medium flame until golden and crisp on both sides.

Once done, serve hot with curd and sattvik coriander chutney.
