Restaurant-Style Garlic Chicken

Filled with the aroma of minced garlic, this Restaurant-Style Garlic Chicken is an easy recipe that you can serve as finger food or as a side dish with naan or rice. Scroll down to learn the simplest Garlic Chicken recipe.

Ingredients required



500 gms chicken, 4 tbsp garlic, 2 onion, 1 tomato, 1 tbsp red chilli powder, 2 green chillies, 1 tbsp vinegar, salt to taste, 1 tsp sugar, 2 tbsp roasted sesame seeds, and 2 tbsp spring onion.

Step 1



Wash and clean the chicken pieces and set them aside.

Marinate the chicken pieces with crushed garlic, red chilli powder, vinegar, and salt. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes.

Heat oil in a thick-bottomed pan.

Add onion and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Add tomato and cook till onion and tomato turn mushy. Add water, salt, and sugar, and allow the mixture to turn into a paste-like consistency.

To this, add the marinated chicken, mix well and cover. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until chicken pieces are cooked through. Adjust salt if required.

Garnish with some spring onions and roasted sesame seeds. Serve hot.
