Rakul Preet's favourite Bhel Bowl recipe

Rakul Preet Singh is one of the fittest in the Bollywood industry but that doesn’t stop her from being a complete foodie that she is. For all the foodies out there, you can maintain your health but still enjoy some scrumptious food, just like Rakul Preet.

Well, it is no secret that Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh is a hard-core foodie, just like us. Be it biryani or basket chaat, her Instagram feed is a proof of her love for food, especially chaat. This time Rakul took to Instagram to share her favourite Bhel recipe that you can easily make at home with a handful of ingredients.

With her favourite hashtag #chaatlover, Rakul recently took to Instagram to share her healthy Bhel recipe video, inspired by nutritionist Rashi Chowdhury. Rakul Preet swears by Rashi Chowdhury’s healthy yet yummy recipes and is seen trying out and posting her recipes every now and then. Rakul tagged Rashi in the clip stating that she is addicted to this yummy Bhel recipe.

​Bhel Recipe

Here is what goes inside her bowl of healthy bhel according to the caption of the post.

Ingredients required- Onions – 2 tablespoons, Tomato – 1 cup, Carrot – 1 cup, Peanuts - ¼ cup, Moong dal – ¾ cup, Green chutney – 1 tablespoon, Tamarind chutney – 2 tablespoons, Chopped coriander – 2 tablespoons, a handful of puffed rice and salt as per taste.

​Method

  • Add puffed rice, moong dal, peanuts to a bowl.
  • Now add chopped veggies like onion, tomato, carrot and coriander leaves.
  • Lastly, add green and tamarind chutney.
  • Add a little bit of salt to adjust the taste and give a very good mix.
  • Your yummy yet healthy Bhel is now ready to be served.

This chaat lover never misses an opportunity to explore different varieties of chaat even amidst shooting. One thing she loves apart from chaat is rice.
