The charm of simple meals


While the world is going gaga over introducing fad meals, supplements to their diet to stay in shape, Kareena has achieved it all without leaving her favourites like parathas, ghee, or dal to name a few. According to Rujuta’s interview published on a digital daily, she mentioned that Kareena swears by a simple yet balanced diet and follows a healthy lifestyle.

No extreme diets


Bollywood is full of fitness gyan, but Kareena’s fitness game is totally different as the diva refrains from following crash diets and doesn't follow fad food trends, rather she believes in a diet that’s sustainable with her normal day-to-day lifestyle. In fact, Rujuta went on to reveal that Kareena’s diet includes all desi staples that most people believe to be unhealthy.

Love for Khichdi

Kareena has time and again shared her love for that perfect homemade Khichdi, which remains as a quintessential part of her day-to-day diet. She swears by a vegetable loaded Khichdi for a healthy and comforting meal for her busy days.

While most health enthusiasts skip eating Parathas to stay in shape, Kareena is a die-hard Punjabi who swears by a crispy Paratha topped with ghee. However, skipping carbs and enjoys eating everything in moderation by painting them with veggies, fruits and curd. She prefers adding a small amount of ghee to her meals because of its potent health benefits.

Dal and rice balance


Another staple in Kareena's diet is a hearty bowl of Dal Chawal, which gives her the right balance of carbs and protein with a punch of taste and comfort. She prefers eating Dal-Chawal during the day as it helps fuel her daily energy and keep her light. This balanced meal helps support fitness goals without being restrictive.
