During the pandemic, foods boosting immunity have become our lifestyle. From breakfast to dinner, we keep indulging in food items that can help boost immunity. One of the most common immunity-boosting drinks that we all have had is Kadha. While Kadha is good for winters, during summer, having it may cause other health issues, as the taasir of this drink is hot and can aggravate some existing problems. Keeping that in view, recently, Chef Saransh Goila shared an immunity-boosting recipe, which also gives a delicious twist to the humble nimbu paani. Scroll below to know more about it. In his post, he has described, “Balance the slight haldi bitterness with lemon and honey. While haldi produces heat black pepper is cooling and helps you absorb all the goodness of haldi. This is a concentrated recipe for you to store in the fridge and make 6-8 glasses. ” (Image: Instagram/saranshgoila)

Benefits of the drink

This drink is rich in curcumin, that helps in boosting immunity and also fights viral replication. It also suppresses various inflammatory molecules which are responsible for the causes of the damage by viruses. And lemon is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, which help in strengthening the immune system and fight against germs that cause the common cold and the flu. (Image: istock)
