Quarantine weekend party tips!

We all love parties but having a celebration when the lockdown just keeps extending can be a tough task. Parties are all about having fun, decorating your house, lots of food and celebrating with your loved ones. The coronavirus outbreak means no school, no friends and seeing your extended family. Due to the lockdown, many of us aren't even with our families and are stuck far away from home due to many reasons. If you have your birthday coming up, or anniversary, here is what you can do to have a proper celebration even when you are self-isolating. Check out these tips and throw a brilliant party and celebrate with everyone.

Plan ahead

Gifts, cakes, or any other supplies that one might need to organise a party at home can be planned in advance. Shop for grocery, gifts, and cakes online. See if your local store is delivering items at doorstep. If you are planning to cook then arrange for any items you might need in advance.
3/10

Fruit dessert

There are many innovative ways of making desserts and not all of them requires you to buy lots of ingredients. Make easy fruit custard pumpkin dessert, lemon cake, fruit curd or salad and much more. Try them and you will definitely love them.
4/10

Prepare healthy party food

Staying inside our homes can take a toll on our health. Prepare healthy and nutritious food for parties that are equally delicious as well. Egg sandwich, peanut chaat, roasted seeds and makhana, oats, parfaits, delicious salads, etc. Party food does not necessarily mean that you have to eat junk food.
5/10

Arrange a virtual hangout

You don't want to be alone and bored out of your mind, especially on your birthday. Gather your friends and family through a virtual chat platform where you can talk to them and celebrate with them. Cut the cake while everyone is there with you through the virtual chat.
6/10

Bake a cake together

There is not much to do at home while you can't out, why not bake a cake and cook your favourite meals with your family? This is the best thing you can do on your birthday or any special occasion. Spend quality time with your parents in the kitchen or if they are not living with you, just video call them and bake a cake along with your family.
7/10

Make homemade beverages

You love ice tea, shakes, smoothies or mocktails, you can make everything at home. Make banana smoothies, Lemon ice-tea to quench your thirst, delicious mocktails and enjoy them with your loved ones.
8/10

A movie night

It is fun when you can watch movies with your friends. Make a list of the movies you want to watch with your gang and use group chats to have a fun movie night. Everyone can watch together and chat at the same time. Settle for an amazing movie night with lots of food and your friends.
9/10

Keep your menu Chinese

Snacks are the most enjoyable part at parties, so indulge in making snacks like momos, Chinese noodles, Manchurian, honey chilli potatoes and fried rice because Chinese makes for a delicious and easy to make menu.

Cook the party dinner together

Dinner or lunch, any meal is important while you are hosting a party. Lockdown can become a limitation for ordering delicious food. However, you can make delicious snacks at home. When you do it together, it will become more fun.
