And when it comes to healthy eating habits, we often read about switching from potato to sweet potatoes. So, if you are someone who is in that transition phase and craving the flavours of potato, here are some interesting sweet potato snacks that are best enjoyed with chai. For the unversed, sweet potatoes are one of the healthiest root vegetables and an ideal alternative to regular potatoes. They are rich in vitamin A, and even studies suggest that they are rich in antioxidants such as anthocyanins and carotenoids, which help neutralize free radicals, reduce oxidative stress, and may lower the risk of chronic diseases like cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes. Roasted Sweet Potato Chaat


This makes for a healthy indulgence for those who skip chaat because of potatoes. To make this, simply cube and roast sweet potatoes, then toss with chopped onions, green chutney, tamarind chutney, chaat masala, curd, lemon juice and sev.
