Types of raw honey

All of us are aware and cautious about what we eat and how much we eat. Health and fitness are two much debated about topics these days. The growing adulteration in food items and increasing pollution has led to a deterioration in the quality of the food we consume including vegetables, fruits, grains, dairy products etc.

According to research, honey is among the most adulterated food products in the world. Also, a recent investigation by the Centre for Science and Environment found that a majority of samples collected from both big and small brands that sell honey don’t pass an advanced quality control test. At such a time, it is very important to check the honey that we consume. More than that, we need to eat the right honey. Here is a look at 7 varieties of raw honey you need to pick over adulterated ones. (Image courtesy: istock)
