Cheena Cutlets


To make this interesting recipe, just mash some cheena and boiled potatoes with some cornflour and veggies. Add spices and herbs, knead a smooth dough, make cutlets and air fry them till they turn crispy. Serve hot with chutney or sauce.

Paneer Pakora


Paneer Pakora is another popular snack, which is made by deep-frying cheena balls. This pakora can be made by mixing and mashing cheena with spices, green chilies and coriander and cornflour. These balls can be dunked in a gramflour(besan) batter, deep fried to perfection and enjoyed with chutneys.

Cheena Poda


Cheena Poda, a specialty from the state of Odisha, is a baked dessert made from curdled milk. The curds are mixed with sugar, cardamom, and cashews, then baked until golden. The result is a sweet, caramelized treat with a slightly crispy crust and a soft, creamy center. To make Cheena Poda, mix the cheena with sugar, cardamom powder, and chopped cashews, then bake the mixture in a greased pan until it turns golden brown.

Dahi Vada


Dahi Vada is a traditional Indian snack made with a fluffy batter of soaked dal mixed with salt. These vada are fried and dunked in water, then squeezed and transferred to a plate. These vadas are topped with dahi, chutneys, coriander leaves and subtle spices.

To make this dish interesting just top the vadas with tamarind chutney and garnish with fresh coriander and a pinch of chaat masala for a delightful, cooling snack.

Rasgulla


Rasgulla is a famous Bengali sweet made using cheena. To make this sweet, knead the cheena along with some cornflour, milk into a smooth dough. These dough balls are cooked and boiled in thin sugar syrup.
