Avocado Paratha


If you are bored of regular paneer or aloo paratha, then this desi twist to exotic avocado as paratha filling will surely tempt your taste buds. Mash 1 ripe avocado with 1 tsp coriander leaves, 2 green chilies, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1 tsp cumin powder, and 1/2 tsp ajwain. Knead a dough using 1 cup of flour, cut small balls and stuff each ball with 1 tbsp of the avocado stuffing. Roll out parathas and cook on a preheated tawa using ghee or oil. Serve hot with curd.

Avocado Chutney


If guacamole is not your thing, then this desi twist to avocados will surely make you enjoy chips and crackers a bit more. Blend 1 avocado with 2 tbsp fresh coriander, 4-6 mint leaves, 2 green chilies, 1 tsp lemon juice, salt, and 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds. This creamy chutney pairs well with dosas, idlis, or pakoras too. This chutney can also be added to sandwich as a base layer and then topped with veggies , paneer, or eggs to make a protein-rich breakfast delight.

Masala Avocado Pav


Forget the regular vada pav and give this masala avocado pav a try. To make this, spread mashed avocado on toasted pav, top with chaat masala, chopped onions, tomatoes, coriander leaves and a generous amount of dry garlic chutney. Your pav is ready. Enjoy it with fried chilli on the side.

Avocado Raita


You have had beetroot and tomato raita, now pair your pulao with avocado raita and to make it dice one avocado and add it to fresh yogurt along with 1/4 chopped cucumber, 2 tsp coriander leaves, 1 tsp roasted cumin powder, and a pinch of black salt for a cooling side treat.

Avocado & Paneer Tikka Salad

To make this desi appetizer, combine 10 gms of grilled paneer cubes, 1 cup avocado chunks, 1/4 cup onions, and bell peppers with lemon juice, chaat masala, and coriander leaves. Give it a gentle mix and your protein and fiber-rich, tangy salad is ready. It pairs well with chilled beverages.
