Sudha Murty: An anatomy of grace

Co-founder of India’s one of the biggest tech giants, Sudha Murty is a billionaire philanthropist who heads Infosys Foundation which works to support underprivileged sections of society. An educator, she is always seen as an advocate of simplicity and has not purchased a single sari in over two decades. However, that hasn't stopped the internet from making her a sari warrior, courtesy her elegant sari looks. Let’s take a look at some simple yet beautiful saris from Murty's collection.

In the hues of purple

Sudha Murty looked simple in a plain purple sari with a broad green border. She usually wears a matching blouse with three-fourth sleeves and looks quite sophisticated. Wearing her mangalsutra with small studs and bangles, she always wears a wristwatch in one hand and ties her hair up in a low bun with a small bindi to go.

Dwelling in lustrous greens

Green looks like her favourite colour as she wears the hue quite often. For her appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, she was seen wearing a grey and green border sari with golden detailing in the blouse and the border of the sari which complemented the green shade of the sari. She wore a long mangal sutra with a beautiful Marathi-style bindi and silver specs with small silver earrings. She also wore a beautiful gajra with a low bun which looked simple and elegant.
