“I have always believed that a woman should wear what she feels most comfortable in, something that highlights who she is,” says Shalini Chauhan, fashion designer, painter and writer. Launched formally in 1998, she has been dedicated to designing clothes for the style-conscious woman of India, and is known for her simple yet elegant style of soft, flowing garments.She has been designing high fashion, beaded and hand embroidered evening dresses, gowns and tops for her customers across the globe for the past 20 years, including in the USA, Europe and Dubai. She is also set to launch her Indian Bridal and ethnic wear collection and her jewelry line this year.
